McKenna is back in the thick of soccer games and practices. It was nice to finally get some decent weather for this week's game. She's had practices in snow, hail, rain, and WIND! I thought she was going to blow away one day. I thought I was going to blow away, car and all, waiting for her in the parking lot!
The Firecrackers are doing pretty well this spring. They are still playing up a year which means the other teams are still much larger and more coordinated than they are. But they've pulled off two wins out of five. Last fall they managed a tie but that was as close to a win as they got. McKenna just loves playing and always leaves it all on the field, win or lose. We're glad she loves soccer because come next fall, she's the only one we'll have playing, down from 3 to 1. We'll miss the excitement of college and high school soccer but have to admit that a far less crazier schedule will be nice! Go Firecrackers!
McKenna passes to her teammate, Lexi, who scored. Nice assist!
Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed the game.
